We’re Almost Off

In less than 12 hours, Alli and I will hopefully be on the road on our way to Santa Fe, New Mexico for 5 days of relaxation, spa treatments, possible hiking (we’ll see) and art galleries.

I’m really looking forward to this vacation. I need an extended break from work (especially considering I have a ton of vacation built up) and this marks the first time in 5 years that Alli and I have really done anything for our anniversary. I’m looking forward to the trip and we’ll take lots of pictures and post them on flickr when we get back.

For now, SAYONARA!!!

I know that there are about 2 people who read this.

That’s OK with me…it’s not why I created it…this is more of an outlet for the stuff that clouds my brain.

Lately, I’ve been pretty clear. Business at Alli Arnold Art is booming, much better than we both expected it to be at this point.

Look for topFIVEdesign.com to come online in the next month or so.

Summer should be good. Couple trips planned. 5-year anniversary this July. HOW Conference in June…possible trip to Wyoming in late July. Should be a great summer.

Corporate Challenge is coming up and I’m pumped. I enjoy it so much. Good times.

Custom Murals and Paintings

One of my favorite things about my wife is her amazing artistic talent. Beginning next Wednesday, she will be venturing out entirely on her own to be a full-time artist. She will be painting custom murals for children’s rooms and businesses as well as selling her own paintings and pastels from her web site (which I designed!):

I am so excited for this new opportunity for her and I am certain that she is going to be successful. If you have the time, visit her site and check her out. If you are in the market for a mural or painting, check her site out.

We miss Alli

We miss Alli.

Me and Dreyfuss have a hard time sleeping without Alli. Dreyfuss is anxious and clingy and I stay up too late (see time of post). Despite getting up at 4:00am for the airport run, I am wide awake when I should be sound asleep.

There’s an absence that just makes me feel “off” and I can’t really explain it (maybe those out there who are married can help me explain it better. I’m going to try and go to bed now.
