I don’t officially start my position until March 9 and my verbally-accepted offer is contingent on my passing a background check, but for all intents and purposes, I have a job.
Starting on March 9, I will begin working for Cerner Corporation as a Sr. Program Analyst in the Online Marketing group. I’m really excited about this opportunity and it’s going to be a very new experience going to work for a large corporation such as Cerner. Up until now, I’ve worked for companies that were smaller than 75 employees when I was hired. (Although certain places grew to over 300 by the time I left.)
I’m no longer unemployed!
Well…I guess technically, I still am unemployed until March 9th, but you get the idea.
CONGRATS BABY!
congrats!
Congrats! Cerner is a bit of a cult, but a fantastic, growing company.
congrats! i actually really liked Cerner. Hope you do too.
YAY!!!!! Congrats! That’s fabulous news!
Oh you’ll have a lot of fun there.

That’s so awesome! Which campus will you call home? Sounds like a very interesting & cool job – great experience builder.
congrats brotherman. i’m really happy for you.
Don’t listen to all the negative remarks about Cerner. All companies have their quirks. I think this is a great opportunity for you; and Cerner is getting one heck of an employee….well…besides me of course. ;-) Congrats!
That is great news! I am so happy for you, and wish you all the best.
Congrats on being part of the Borg! :)
Glad to hear you got a job Shane. That’s great. By looking at Cerner, it may not be the best place to work, but a job is a job. I’ve had a number of bad jobs in my past, but I was thankful for every one of them, as they provided a pay check and were a stepping or networking stone for something better at the least. Hopefully your niche within Cerner works out well. Best of luck, bud.
Congrats, Shane!! Thought about you often through these tough times.
