We’ve spent a good chunk of the weekend moving Jake and Kelly into their new house. I’m so excited for them, even though they basically live in St. Louis now (they actually live in a suburb of St. Louis called “Grain Valley”). Today, after catching the second half of the KU game (Rock Chalk), we took a late nap. We woke up after 7:00 p.m. Naps are awesome.
Unsure about what the rest of the night brings, but I’m thinking pizza.
There’s a Grain Valley near KC, also. My favorite sister-in-law and her husband recently moved near St. Louis/St. Charles. They’re our motorcycle-riding buddies and I really miss them.
I thought he was joking about how far to the east of center KC’s Grain Valley was. Pizza hut delivers there, so if that’s where you were I hope you got your pizza!
Just to clear things up, I was talking about the KC Grain Valley. I was sarcastically referring to how far it is from my home in Olathe. Sorry for the confusion.
Please tell me they aren’t commuting all the way over to “For Rent” still!!!! Yikes if they are.
