Lost Demonstrates Why Writers Make TV Shows Better

Tonight’s episode of Lost was a perfect example of why scripted TV is so much better than so-called “reality” TV.

Here’s something to chew on: Aaron is Jack’s half-nephew.

For those who haven’t watched yet, I won’t say anymore. All I know is that Lost is back and it’s better than ever. We finally are getting answers and that is a good thing. I can’t wait for next week!

  1. Wait, what? Oh, OK, that’s right, I forgot that connection from a couple of seasons ago. But that does make the last scene’s reveal (which I totally called, in my head, to myself, since I was watching alone) much more powerful.
Does he count as one of the “Oceanic 6″ though?

  2. Lost is a great show, but you had to see that coming from a mile away. The moment they mentioned something about her son in the flashforward, I told Jen it would be Aaron.

While I’m glad to have it back, and the episodes are good, I have yet to be floored by anything like back in the day. Maybe the time they showed Sayid cap that guy on the golf course.

  3. I love LOST. It ticks me off sometimes but it is so nice to have an actual “show” to watch. Finally – a balance in my evenings!

  4. i love it. that show is so damn good. i think it has been awesome since it started back up. who else wants to punch Locke in the face?

  5. How is someone your half-nephew?

Im caught up to the first few episodes of season 3, so haven’t gotten that story yet – but you could never be someones full nephew – unless youre from Kentucky, right?
