The Superest is a collaborative website by Kevin Cornell of Bearskinrug and Matthew Sutter of Inkfinger, two of the Web’s wittiest illustrators. Cornell is A List Apart’s resident illustrator and I’m a huge fan of his work. The two originally started a game of “My Team Your Team” on Cornell’s site and it became a larger game with its own website.

The rules are basically this:

Player 1 draws a character with a power. Player 2 then draws a character whose power cancels the power of that previous character. Repeat.

The site aims to answer the question: Who is the superest hero of all?

These guys are funny. I have no idea how long they’ll be able to keep it up, but I love it. I love my morning comics, but this is something new. If you have a sense of humor and like super heroes and comics, I suggest you check it out. If you’re looking for a place to start, go to the beginning.
