Why Nickelback Sucks
OK, so I got this link from kottke and I had to share it. This website has a audio demonstration of how Nickelback essentially recorded the EXACT SAME song TWICE and managed to make MTV hits out of both songs.
You need speakers or headphones for the link because the site plays both songs at the same time, one through one speaker and one through the other. You’ll notice the words are different but that’s about it.

I saw that too. And yet I wasn’t all that surprised. I think the same thing could be said about the Googoo Dolls.

for sure…all the songs are the same…his voice is always sounding like he’s having his short hairs ripped out….very disturbing and annoying…I’m a Beatles fan from a long time ago…probably before you fellas were born….original music….and good intrumentals…..

we can thank nirvana, the founders of grunge for such garbage groups as nicklebak, goo goo dolls, pearl jam, etc. rap hip hop and grunge all sound the same, and any music out of seattle sucks, except hendrix and heart

i disagree dave. nickelback is awful, but nirvana cannot be grouped with them. kurt cobain deserves better.
